Prof Dr Nikolaus Ballenberger Dr. Nikolaus Ballenberger holds the position as Professor at the University of applied Sciences Osnabruck and is responsible for the areas Physical Therapy and Clinical decision making. He received his PhD at the Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich in 2012. Dr. Ballenberger completed two post-graduate Master-level courses (2009, Master of Science in Epidemiology at der University of Maastricht and 2008 Master of Physiotherapy Science in Physical Therapy sciences at the Universities Maastricht/Zurich). Further, he is a certified physical therapist (1999).

His activities include epidemiology and biostatistics at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University Munich in the epidemiologic/immunologic research team of Prof. Dr. Erika v. Mutius und PD Dr. Bianca Schaub. Further, Prof. Ballenberger works clinically since 1999 in different clinical settings, including private and rehab clinics, and his own clinic.
