Miguel Cano, BSc, PT.

TEACHER in training - Miguel graduated in Physical Therapy in 2006 from the International University of Catalonia (Barcelona).
He initially worked in home rehabilitation for elderly patients, gaining experience in orthopedics, neurology, and geriatrics. Influenced by his family background in dentistry, he developed an early focus on temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and completed an interdisciplinary postgraduate specialization in 2007.
He later joined the TMD Department of the university’s Dental School and became an associate teacher in Physical Therapy.
Since 2012, his work has focused primarily on TMD and orofacial pain management. He completed advanced training in headaches, myofascial pain, dry needling, cervical OMT, and imaging diagnostics.
Miguel started CRAFTA® training in 2017 and is close to certification.
He teaches workshops for primary care dentists within the Catalan Public Health Service and collaborates in the Master’s program at the University of Barcelona. Based in Barcelona, he works as a freelance clinician specializing in TMD, orofacial pain, and tinnitus.
