March 5–6, 2027 | Madrid Headache, Orofacial Pain, Muscle Function and Motor Control

Headaches and orofacial pain are among the most prevalent and disabling health conditions affecting the population today. Their clinical complexity, the frequent coexistence of different pain mechanisms, and the interaction of biological, psychological, and behavioural factors require a multidisciplinary approach based on the best available scientific evidence.

Bruxism, temporomandibular disorders, migraine, and other primary headaches represent a significant challenge for healthcare professionals. In this context, Physiotherapy plays an increasingly important role in the assessment, clinical reasoning, and management of these conditions, working in close collaboration with other healthcare disciplines.

For this reason, the School of Physiotherapy of ONCE, affiliated with the Autonomous University of Madrid, together with CRAFTA®, is organizing the “37th ONCE Physiotherapy Conference and 7th CRAFTA® Conference”, an international meeting that will bring together leading experts in Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Neurology, and Psychology to share the latest advances in the understanding and management of headaches, orofacial pain, and movement disorders of the cranio-mandibular system.

As a pre-conference activity, a specialized course will be held on March 4, delivered by internationally renowned experts. This course will provide participants with the opportunity to explore specific clinical topics in greater depth through advanced, practice-oriented training before the official start of the conference.

Throughout the conference, participants will explore highly relevant topics such as bruxism and its different clinical phenotypes, temporomandibular disorders, migraine, motor control, sensitization, myofascial pain, therapeutic exercise, and clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis processes. The presentations will integrate knowledge from different healthcare disciplines, promoting a comprehensive, evidence-based understanding of these complex clinical conditions.
